Simpson, Assistant State Engineer~,.0 <br />SUBJECT: Panhandle Drilling Company, Alma Placer, M-85-029 <br />Sec. 1, 12, 13, T9S, R78W, and Sec. 7, T9S, R77W <br />As requested, we have reviewed the above referenced application t operate a <br />gold placer and gravel operation adjacent to Alma, Colorado in Pa k County on <br />160 acres. As long as the following conditions are met, we have o problems <br />with the operation: <br />1. All new ponds exposing ground water will be filled in by the end of <br />the mining operation. <br />2. No ground water will be used in the operation. Ground w ter removed <br />from the mining area as a result of dewatering will be d livered to <br />the sedimentation ponds along with waste water from the fining opera- <br />tion. <br />3.
