6.4.5 Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan
Reclamation Summary
The general order of reclamation activities is provided in Table 6.4.5-1, t'
Reclamation Sequence Summary and Table 6.4.5-2, Reclamation Earthwork.
Reclamation will occur concurrently with mining. Reclamation activities will
include backfilling Phase I -Cell 1 above historic grade. Ceils 2 and 3, which are
within the Phase I slurry wall, will become two water storage reservoirs, with
slopes graded to no steeper than 3H:1 V. Cell 4 will be left as a groundwater-fed
pond, with no steeper than 3H:1 V slopes.
Phase II -Cell 3 will be backfilled close to historic grade and Phase II -Cells 1
and 2, which lie within the Phase II slurry wall, will combine to be one water
storage reservoir, with slopes graded to no steeper than 3H:1 V.
All affected areas will have topsoil replaced to a minimum depth of 0.5 ft and be
revegetated with native vegetation followed by implementation of a weed control
program. Exhibit F -Reclamation Plan Map shows final grading and the
topsoil/revegetation areas. Phase I reclamation will be complete, at least to
satisfy reclamation requirements and bond release for all activities up to
topsoiling and revegetation, prior to mining Phase II.
Table 6.4.5-1 Reclamation Sequence Summary
CELL PROPOSED RECLAMATION RECLAMATION LAND USE
Phase I - Backfill to Approximate Historic General Agriculture
Cell 1 Grade
Phase I - Water Storage Reservoirs Developed Water Resource
Cells 2 & 3
Phase I - Leave Unlined Pond General Agriculture
Cell 4
Phase II - Backfill to Approximate Historic General Agriculture
Cell 3 Grade
Phase II - Backfill + Water Storage Developed Water Resource
Cells 1 & 2 Reservoir
Reclamation Earthwork NOV 2 0 2000
Division of Re mat
Reclamation earthwork will occur cpp>w~rE~n`~~f~`~~' mining when possible and
generally occur as indicated in Table 6.4.5-2, Reclamation Earthwork.
~~p
,'L006
aamatiorl.
,Safety
November 16, 2006 Bokelman/Watters Pit
Page 7 of 36 Regular 112 Permit Application
