Two earl er mining
opeatiens probably disrupted wildlife cemmuni.tiss at hat time.
Presently, the Varva Constru:Ction Company's gravel pit presents a
significant disruption of the adjacent wildlife common'ties.
The proposed site is bounded on the west by Coun y Read 1~
and generally on the north by St. Vrain Creek. The east and
south boundaries are agricultural lands and associated practices.
Due to the past and present disturbances, impacts o e>:isting
wildlife populations are expected to be minimal.
