<br /> <br />1120 COURT ST., ROOM 200 PUEBLI <br />(719) 546-6100 ~ FAX NO. <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Pueblo County P:arning Commission !!qq--,, <br />FROM: Cathy Green, Environmental Planner C~ <br />~n® ~~v~a.o~~~~~ <br />COLORADO 87003-2889 <br />'19) 544-0342 <br />DATE: September 11, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: Special Use Permit No. 709, State of Colorado -State Board of <br />Land Commissior_ers (land owner), Broderick and Gibbons <br />(operator(applica^.t) . <br />PURPOSE <br />This is a one year review of a special use permit for the extraction and <br />processing of sand and gravel in an A-1, Agricultural (minimum 40 acres), <br />and in a.n S-1, Public Use Zone District. The site contains 1,046 acres <br />with apFlroximately 755 acres proposed to be distributed. <br />LOCAT I i~N <br />The property is located 2 miles south of Vineland on the east side of 36th <br />Lane and is legally described as the S 1/2 and a portion of the N 1/2 of <br />Section :?1, a portion of the NW 1/4 of Section 22, and the N 112 of <br />Section :?8 all located in Township 21 South, Range 63 West (Exhibit 1). <br />BACKGROUND <br />Special Lase Permit No. 709 was originally granted to the applicants on <br />September 25, 1990. In a one-year review of the permit, the Pueblo <br />County Planning Commission, at its reg~slar meeting held on September 24, <br />1991, voted to approve said permit with the following conditions {Note: <br />AppLcant: is Broderick and Gibbons as referenced in these conditions): <br />1. The applicant shall prcvide the Department of Planning and <br />Development with a copy of any MLRB applications, permits, <br />amendments, or releases pertaining to Special Use Permit No. <br />709 within 30 days of their submittal to and approval by the <br />MLRB. <br />2. .The applicant shall provide the Department of Planning and <br />Development with a copy of any State or Local permit <br />applications (e.g. , air quality, augmentation, NPDES, etc. ) <br />and approvals thereof within 30 days of said application or <br />approval . <br />ZONING AND SUBDIVISION LAND U$E PLANNING • ENVIRONMENTAL GVALITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT • CONTRACT$AND GRANT$ADMINI$TRATION <br />
