Melvin O'Dea is chairman in 1983. <br />Exhibit C <br />1. The building near the southwest cornier of the gravel pit <br />property is ab~3ndoned. It is within 200 feet of the affected <br />lands boundary, however, it is not close enough to the active <br />mining area to incur any structural damage from mining acti- <br />vities. <br />2. There a.re no present topsoil stockpiles. It is anticipated <br />that as salvageable topsoil is encountered it can be placed <br />directly on areas that are ready to be reclaimed, without the <br />necessity of si,ockpiling it. F.efer to item 3, under exhibit D, <br />3, Product stockpiles, when the;v exist, will be in the immediate <br />vicinity of the crusher, as located on the map. <br />Exhibit D <br />1. The planned depth o£ mining is 2C-25 feet. <br />2. Typical working face slopes for dozing will range from 101 <br />to 5~1. Pit run gravel removed with front end loaders is taken <br />from a near vertical wall. <br />3. The amount of topsoil available varies thruout the site. <br />hfuch of it has already been removed during previous Wining <br />o~eT•ations and a considerable amount of the remainder is con- <br />taminated with trash and debris. Salvageable topsoil will be <br />striped and utilized for reclamation as it is encountered. <br />Exhibit E <br />1. This is an old operationthat rill require the removal of the <br />debris mentiona~d in Exhibit D. 3. The areas that hve been mined <br />will be cleaned, topsoil added as needed, and seeded. As indicated <br />in the soils report there is very little topsoil on the site. We <br />plan to return the site to its natural condition. <br />2, Pie will follow your recommedation for seeding. <br />Exhibit F <br />1.
