The Roaring Fork drainage basin has been assigned <br />Hydrologic Unit No. 14010004 by USGS. Most of the Fourmile Creek drainage basin, <br />including Sunlight Mine, is in Garfield County. The remainder is in Pitkin County. <br />There is a significant amount of disturbance in the area from old mine slag. The total <br />drainage area (Figure H.1.) of Fourmile Creek is 38.3 sq. mi.
