There is no resi- <br /> dential or commercial development within a mile <br />' of the mine. Cropland exists several miles to <br /> the east, but the mine will have no effect on <br /> <br /> it. There is pastureland close to the permit <br />' area but it has not been used for years, and <br /> would not be effected by any mining activities. <br />' Wildlife is found throughout the permit and ad- <br /> jacent areas, but for the past sixty years min- <br />' i <br />i <br /> ing activities have had no add <br />t <br />onal impact on <br />t wildlife other than the loss of habitat on a <br /> small two-acre area that is divided by the high- <br />' way.
