Notice to Parties and Interested Persons to the Line Camp Pit Application

The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) is recommending approval of the
application for the Line Camp Pit, File No. M-2001-001, submitted by Four States
Aggregates. This recommendation is based on a finding by DMG that the applicant has
demonstrated compliance with the requirements of Section 34-32.5-115(4) of the
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials.
DMG's rational for its approval recommendation will follow under separate mailing.
RE: Approval Recommendation, Line Camp Pit, File No. M-2001-001
As a reminder to DMG's previous notification to the parties to the application, DMG has
scheduled the application for Formal Public Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board, for consideration of the application. The hearing has been scheduled
for the May 23-24, 2001 Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver,
Colorado, commencing at 10:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be
considered.
The Pre-hearing Cohference has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m., May 15, 2001, at the
Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Avenue, Dolores, Colorado. The purpose of the Pre-
hearing Conference is to identify the parties, witnesses and exhibits for the hearing and to
identify the issues to be considered by the Board at the hearing.
