REVISED EXHIBIT S
PERMANENT MAN MADE STRUCTURES WITHIN 200 FEET OF THE AFFECTED
AREA
There are one sheep shed, corrals and a well that are on the property in the staging
area, which will not be mined. These structures are approximately 75 to 100 feet
away from the mining area on the top rim of the pit. The mining will not affect these
structures at all.
The other structures that are within two hundred feet are a wire fence between Gene
Ensz and a wire fence that runs along the canal. There are also power lines that
border the property lines. The Rio Grande lateral canal runs along the south edge
of the property. The fences are 100 feet away from the top of the pit along with the
power poles. The canal is at least more than 100 feet from the edge of the pit.
The mining will not get close enough to affect it.
These structures lie on the outside of the 100-foot buffer zone of the affected area
set by the county. There is currently mining taking place on the south side of the
canal by another permit holder right up to the property line with no adverse affects to
it.
In our operation there will be no blasting or drilling taking place to extract the sand
and gravel, therefore, the structures will not be affected.
