Loye <br />DATE: April 22, 1982 <br />Following is a brief summary of the contents of an application to be <br />considered for group presentation. The information is accurate as <br />of the above date. <br />Operator Hart Rok Redi-Mix Concrete, Inc. <br />File Nos. 77_185. 77-196 & 77-197 <br />Operation Type Open pit gravel (all limited impact permits) <br />General Location 77-195: 6.0 acres, about 1 mile NW of Salida; <br />77-196: 9.5 acrea, about 1.5 miles N of Buena Vista; 77-197: 9.8 acres, <br />Acres about 1 mile S of Salida; all in Chaffee County <br />Mining Plan This is a request for transfer of permit and succession of <br />operator to Hard Rock Paving and Redi-Mix, Inc. for all three of these, <br />limited impact permits. Staff also recommends an increase in bond of from <br />the existing $2,500.00 on each operation to $5,000.00 on each operation. <br />Reclamation Plan: <br />Final land use <br />Slope grading ' <br />Topsoil depth <br />Species to be planted <br />Additional Details Considering current reclamation costs and the increase <br />in maximum financial warranty to $5,000.00 for limited impact operations, <br />the staff feels that the increases in financial warranty are justified. The <br />new operator has agreed to the bond increases and plans to submit corporate <br />General Timetable sureties to replace the existing certificate of <br />t. <br />Staff Recommendation Staff recommnends the approval of the successions of <br />operator and that the financial warranties all be increased to $5,000.00. <br />
