PUBLIC NOTICE
Oglebay Norton Industrial Sands, Inc., 3250 Drennan Industrial Loop, Colorado
Springs, Colorado, 80935, [phone], has filed an application for a Regular
(112) Construction Materials Operation Reclamation Permit with the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land
Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed mine
is known as the Jemadojin Sand Mine and is located within Section 34, Township
16 South, and Section 3, Township 17 South, Range 62 West, 6th P.M., EI Paso
County.
The proposed date of commencement is summer 2006, and the proposed date of
completion is 2021. The proposed future use of the land is rangeland.
