E}:hIBIT F:
heclamation Plan:

A. There is no planned use for this land except
for grazing, wt,ich is its present use. Therefor
reclamation will be planned with this in mind.
B. There is no plan at present to abandon this pit
as it is a good source of gravel for road main-
tenance. Nost of the county roads in this county
are surfaced with gravel.
~. The overburden in this pit area is of the Ascalon-
Platner-Stoneham Assn. which will support veg-
etation and is in ample supply.
D. ~~hen the time comes for reclamation the area
will be graded so that no slopes of more than
3:1 will be left. The material graded off the
banks will be spread on the floor of the pit
and ti.e whole seeded with the following grass
mixtures per acre.
1. z lb. Sand Love Grass
2. 3 lbs. Blue Gramma
3. 2 lbs. wand biae Stem
4. 1 lb. Switch Grass
5. 1 lb. Sweet Clover
Just prior to, or at the time of seeding the
area will be treated with 50 lbs. of Nitrogen
per acre.
E. There are no trees or shrubs in the area and none
will be needed in the reclamation.
F'. No special consideration will need be given to
v'ildlife.
G. Drainage will not be a problem as the natural
slope of the pit floor will drain excess rain-
fall into the nearby Horse Creek valley. There is
no subsurface water or groundwater in the pit.
