GEOTECHNICAL STABILITY EXHIBIT
There are no buildings or any structures outside the permit area which could be affected by the
operation. A minimum thirty foot buffer will be maintained from the permit boundary line to all
excavations. A minimum thirty foot buffer will also be maintained from the edge of excavation to
all power lines and poles. A fifty foot buffer will exist from al] gas lines to the edge of excavation.
All reclaimed areas will be restored to relatively flat (<3.5%) slopes except for the lake slopes,
which will be reclaimed to a 3.OH:1.OV slope. The material of these slopes will be fine overburden
and fines from processing, which will be compacted during placement. These slopes have always
been very stable in all gravels and original soils in this area therefore, no detailed stability
analysis is presented.
15 Road Pit 10/02 61
