It is a gravel <br />eap with 2' of silty clay overburden moderately covered with sagebrush and <br />grass. There is no water table in the pit, <br />The description of the pit is SW'y Section 36, T. 1 N., R. 94 W., 6th P,M., in <br />Rio Blanco, Colorado. (Also see "Exhibit B", map of area) <br />"EXHIBIT B" <br />Map of Area: Attached <br />NOTE: Includes location map and lab report on pH and conductivity <br />"EXHIBIT C" <br />Mining Plan: <br />(1) Clear and burn sagebrush. <br />(2) Topsoil overburden will be removed and stockpiled for use in final reclamation. <br />(3) It is presumed the sand and gravel will be excavated with front end loader and <br />fed to the contractor's crushing equipment. <br />(4) The excavation will start at the existing face and go south and westerly to a <br />depth not to exceed the present depth of pit. <br />(5) Reclamation of the pit is to be done by White River Aggregates and will consist <br />of grading, placing topsoil and seeding. The monies for this reclamation is <br />a condition of the option between the Department of Highways and White River <br />Aggregates, Inc. Refer to "EXHIBIT L", Option to Buy Materials, Additional <br />Condition No. 4 and No. 10. <br />"EXHIBIT D" <br />Estimated Timetable of Operation: <br />Clearing sagebrush - 1 Day <br />Stockpiling topsoil overburden - 3 Days <br />Excavating and crushing sand 6~ gravel - 60 Days <br />Replacing topsoil overburden - <br />Seeding pit area - <br />*See "EXHIBIT C" No. 5 <br />"EXHIBIT E" <br />Wildlife Occurrence: Statement requested from the Division of Wildlife 8/13/76, and <br />will be submitted when received. <br />"f' <br />
