EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN
The vegetation which currently exists on the site will yield enough forage to support
approximately one-half of a cow unit(based upon 4,000 pounds palatable yield cow unit.)
Proper reclamation will provide a range condition, which will be at least equal to that
which existed previously.
There is little or no topsoil in the site location. However every effort will be made to
conserve and store topsoil from the entire site to ensure as much source vegetative growth
as possible. Overburden will be maintained in such a manner as to minimize erosion.
[n the areas which have been mined, natural fines will be used to backfill and will be
graded to a 3:1 slope as needed according to the reclamation map. This will be
accomplished with a John Deere Loader, which additionally be used for compaction of
the fill material to minimize erosion potential.
Seeding will commence after placing and compaction of the overburden soil .The plant
vaziety used will be with the recommendation of the U.S. Soil Conservation Service with
a grass drill as recommended by the same department
