As you are aware,
Marathon Gold Corporation has experienced considerable
difficulty in obtaining a bond in the very large amount
previously approved by the Board for this operation. Marathon
Gold Corporation would like to be able to commence its mining
operations with respect to one (1) acre of its mine permit
area, with the understanding that any mining operations beyond
the initial one (1) acre would require the posting of an
additional bond or the reclamation of the initial one (1) acre
mined.
