I3 and NE's, Sec. 24, T16S, R66W, E1 Paso County <br />Location of Hine <br />=:2dlife Species list: - <br />Coyote, mule deer, cottontail, jackrabbits, various small birds and rodents <br />_:?~-ered/critical species/impacted: <br />NONE KNOWN <br />___t`cal habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />NONE KNOWN <br /><_s:nent of impact• Large vehicle traffic on haul roads will cause wildlife to avoid areas <br />near gravel operation and haul roads therefore impact actually occurs over a larger area <br />indicated. Greatest impacts will probably be on small rodents and rabbits via displacement <br />and conversion of habitat. Mule deer habitat will also be converted to a condition useless <br />to them. There is•sufticient habitat that populations of species using the mine area <br />could move elsewhere, to surrounding areas. Habitat impacts cannot be considered <br />significant due to low densities of wildlife populations utilizing area.
