However, APEN(e) are required
and the filing fee(s) for the APEN(s) are retained by the APCD.
Please note that each source required to file an APEN is subject to an
annual fee. However, APEN(e) are required and the
filing fee(s) for the APEN(e) are retained by the APCD.
Please note that each source required to file an APEN ie subject to an
annual fee. Specifically, this exemption has been granted provided that the
following information is accurate and complete:
1. Annual production of gravel does not exceed 10,000 tons/year.
2. Haul roads will be watered to prevent visible emissions of fugitive
particulates.
3. TY~is exemption is for the gravel mine only. All portable processing
equipment must have separate permits.
Any changes with respect to the original submittal which would result in
increases in either emissions or ambient air impacts, or which would result in
the ertiiseion of any pollutants not listed in the original submittal,
automatically nullifies this exemption. Before actually making any such
change, you must apply to the Division for a new exemption based on the
anticipated change; if the new exemption is denied by the Division, you will
have to obtain a permit before implementing the change.
Sincec~ely,

Tom Tiatinic
Public Health Engineer
Stationary Sources Program
Air Pollution Control Division
TT:mr
08531
