Page 2 <br />4. The seed mixture should consist of blue grama, sideoats grama, little bluestem <br />and western wheat (see attached seed sheet). Grass drilling should occur <br />between November 1 through May 20~h. Weeds should be controlled <br />mechanically or chemically until grass is established. Grazing should be excluded <br />for two growing seasons from the time of planting from the seeded areas. <br />Fencing maybe needed to achieve this. <br />5. A minimum of 4000 lbs. of (native) grass mulch per acre should be applied to the <br />surface after the grass has been seeded to hold the ground until the grass has <br />established.
