GEOTECHNICAL STABILITY EXHIBIT
6.5 GEOTECHNICAL STABILITY EXHIBIT
(1) Mining of this site shall not require a geotechnical evaluation due to the nature of the
deposit to be mined. This deposit is an alluvium site on a terrace, and mining will not form
any high walls to be left after mining has depleted the resource. All banks shall be sloped
a 3:1 or flatter.
(2) No engineering will be needed for stability analyses this will be a landscaping operation
only. As stated before the slopes will be 3:1 or flatter.
(3) No off-site potential impact will be caused by this mine. This pit will not jeopardize any
building or other manmade structures. There are no roads or bridges near the excavated
areas. Therefore the potential for seismic damage is limited.
(4) Blasting at this site is not part of the mining plan or the reclamation plan.
Therefore no blastin plan will be developed.
