EXHIBIT "G"
Water Information
(1) This operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems.
(2) Since this operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems,
items (a) (b) and (c) are not necessary. However some of the information is supplied as
a matter of course.
(a) On the map there is one water drainageway MOSS GULCH which is on the west side
of the mining area. Neither are there any wells, springs, or reservoirs on the affected
lands or adjacent lands. No stock ponds are located within the boundary however. The
drainageways will not be altered or affected by activity due to mining.
(b) There are no known aquifers to be identified.
(c) There will be no dewatering operation or runoff from disturbed areas. A low berm will
be placed around areas of excavation to prevent runoff into or away from the pit area. A
Stormwater Discharge Permit and associated Stormwater Manage Plan (SWMP) will be
developed for this operation.
(3) There will be no water requirements for the development, mining and reclamation
phases of this project for this operation. Therefore no flow rates or annual volumes are
presented.
(4) As stated above no water will be required or involved so there are no sources of supply.
(5) A Stormwater Discharge permit will be applied for from the Water Quality Control
Division of the Colorado Department of Health and associated Stormwater Managemeht
Plan developed. However, the applicant will not be acquiring or applying for a Nationdl
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit since there will be no discharge.
