RECENED
Clarifications and changes to original application: OCT ~ 2 ZOC ~
Division of Reclamation,
Exhibit B Mining and Safety
The Storm Water Management Plan SWMP will be maintained by contractors or owner
for the life of the permit with regulaz maintenance.
Exhibit C
CDOT has granted three permits for this project as well as a letter August 13, 2007
saying they aze aware of the project although it does not mention specifically that they
have donated the soil in their right of way to the project, I have received permission from
the regional office who directed me to Ron Heikes in the Creede shop 719-658-2324. We
did an on sight visit and he agreed that the soil could be donated to the Mineral County
Fairground Assoc.
Exhibit D
In order to establish revegetation of the sight liquid fertilizer will be applied. Bid for
fertilizer is attached. If this does not succeed, there maybe a need for making a gentler
slope.
I have a list of noxious weeds from the NRCS and will monitor and implement noxious
weed controls when needed.
Exhibit E
The revised Exhibit E map is attached. It includes the CDOT right of way and arrows
indicating the direction of mining with a signature and date.
As mentioned in the application CDOT and Mineral County would like to use this chance
to improve line of sight around Airport corner due to increase in auto and RV traffic
making left turn off Hwy 149 onto Airport Road. Thus we are requesting a 1/1 slope for a
cut of approximately 130' long with the highest cut being 15' maximum. This cut would
be from 50' to 100' from the edge of Hwy 149 right of way so if there is sloughing it
