The upper 10 inches of the subsoil is yellowish brown
very gravelly clay loam, the next 21 inches is yellowish brown very cobbly
clay loam and the lower part to a depth of 70 inches is brownish yellow
extremely stony loam.
Permeability of the Cunckley soil is moderate. Available water capacity
is moderate. Runoff is medium, and the hazard of water erosion is high.
The Skyway soil is moderately deep and well drained. It formed in
residuum derived dominantly from sandstone. Typically, the surface is
covered with a mat of partially decomposed leaves and twigs about 1 inch
thick.
