Dept of Transportation <br />has not yet responded to my request for a consent letter reearding <br />the Interstate highway. I have given her your address, so she may <br />be responding directly to your office. <br />I believe it is important to mention at this point that the gravel pit was <br />in use long before any of these entities were in place. <br />2. Equipment to be used in the mining operation are: D-7 Caterpillar, <br />Allis Chalmers 18 yard scraper, 3 front end loaders lark, and Mack <br />12 yard dump trucks. The gravel will be taken from the virgin bank <br />and loaded into the dump trucks and transported. The access road <br />will not be reclaimed upon canpletion of the mining activities, as <br />it will return to use as an access road for the faun operation. <br />3. The maximum area to be disturbed at any one time will be six acres. <br />4. Mining plan rtop and additions are being sent as part of this package. <br />Gradient changes are indicated on the map. <br />5. Reclamation plan-although we do plan to reclaim expended areas of the <br />pit as we go, it still sums host accurate to inaicate that the maxinnmi <br />size of the pit at any one time will be six acres. <br />6. As stated in the application, there are no municipalities within 2 miles <br />of the permit area, <br />Ps I have indicated to you, 1 will be cut cf town fran Dec. i8 to Dec. 30. <br />In my absence, your contact person (in addition to Doyle Russell] is my sister- <br />in-law, gam Russell. Her telephone number is 3G3-484-9368. She will be <br />responsible for seeing to it that the letter of credit fran tinion Colony <br />bank reaches ycu. <br />
