• PUBLIC NOTICE <br />MINREC, INC., 2768 Compass Drive, Suite 101, Grand Junction, CO 81506, has <br />submitted an application to the Division of Minerals and Geology for the renewal of its valid <br />existing permit to conduct coal mining in Colorado. The permit renewal application is for <br />the Red Canyon Mine, mining permit No. C-81-034. The mining permit is for reclamation <br />only so no new underground mining will take place. The Red Canyon Mine is located five <br />miles northwest of Cedaredge, CO, in portions of Sections 2, 11, 12, 13, & 14, T 13 S, R <br />95 W. The location of the permit area is contained in the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 <br />minute Cedaredge, Colorado, quadrangle map. A copy of the renewal application is <br />available for public inspection at the Delta County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 5th and <br />Palmer, Delta, CO and at the offices of the Division of Minerals and Geology.
