TABLE 2.05.3(3)10-6
RECLAMATION CALCULATION SHEET
Surface Disturbance
Three drill pads with a total disturbance of about 5,400 ft2 or 0.12 acre. The pads are in an area that historically
has been considered dryland pasture. Revegetation of this land type is with seed mix #8 at a ddlled rate of 5.7
pounds/acre. The 2004 price for seed mix #8 was $2,62/pound.
Seed Cost
Rounding the 2004 cost to $3.00/pound and increasing the application rate to 24pounds per acre
for broadcast seeding (2X drilled rate for broadcasting x 2"just-in-case" = 24# yields a per acre seed cost of $72.00
Recontour pads to approximate original contours
2 hrs 2CY bucket excavator or equiv x $200/hr (includes mob-demob
for local contractor) =$400.00
0.12 acre of disturbance x $72 =$8.64
Labor to broadcast seed 1hr x $20.00 = 20.00
Surtace Disturbance Subtotal $435.12
Hole Abandonment (14 holes at aoorox 60' eal
Hole Sealing
WFC estimates that each hole will be dry.
