Active Stockpile Erosion at Underground Mine Portals Process Description Coal will be stockpiled at portal exits as it comes off conveyors before it is loaded onus trucks for transport to the rail load-out facility. A maximum of two days production will be stockpiled at any one time. In most cases, coal will be continuously loaded onto haul trucks for delivery to the Loadout Facility. Therefore, the stockpile will be smaller most of the time. As a conservative estimate, the maximum stockpile size is analyzed.
