• ~e 5
oct. 6, 1983
Peter O'Connor
Chieftain Mine
Although xe have agreed to few of you recommended changes, we hope
you can see that there has been a lot oP thought put into the submittal.
We also hope that you will agree that revegtation is far from a
cook book procedure and that different people with different backgrounds
and levels of experience may have different approaches to the same
problem. In that respect, the different approaches are a reflection
of that separate, fascinating area of study called the ecology
of ecologists. The bottomline, though, is that the operator must
reclaim his affected lands or he does not get his bond back. There
are, in fact, many xays to travel from point A to point B and end
up at essentially the same place.
If you have any questions, please call.
Resrypec~tfully,
~~ ,
Mark A. Heifn
