EXHIBIT I, <br />Soils Information <br />Baca Clay Loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes <br />The Baca soil is dccp and well dmincd. It formcd in loess on the plains. Typically the surfacc is clay <br />loam 5 inches thick. The subsoil is clay loam or silty clay loam 19 inches thick. The nndcrlying material is silt <br />loam to a depth of GO inches or more. Permeability is moderately stmv. Available water capacity is high. 8ffeclivc <br />rooting depth is GO inches or more. Runoff is slow csccpt in more sloping area. The hazard of water erosion is <br />moderate on areas with slopes over 3 percent. The hazard of wind erosion is high. Most of this unit is used for <br />cropland. <br />Gravelly Land <br />Gravelly land consists of dccp and escessivcly drained soils bordering major drainageways. Slopes range <br />from 3 to 20 percent. The surfacc is gravelly loam 12 inches thick. The nndcrlying material is gravelly toamy <br />sand grtding to sand and gravel to a depth of C>0 inches or morn. Permeability is modcratc. Available water <br />capacity is lmv. Effective rooting depth is GO inches or more. Runoff is rapid and the hazard of water erosion is <br />high. <br />Wages Loam <br />The Wages soil is dccp and tvcll dmincd. it formcd in alluvium on terraces. Typically the surfacc is loam <br />4 inches thick. The subsoil is clay Ionm R inches Ihick. The underlying material is clay loam to a depth oC(,0 <br />inches or more. Pcrmcability is moderato. Available water capacity is high. Ef(cctivc rooting depth is GO inches <br />or more. Runoff is slow to medium. The hazard of wind ccosion is moderate to high. Slopes range from 0 to 3 <br />percent. This soil is subject to nre flooding. <br />Wiley Loarn, 1 to 3 percent slopes <br />The Wiley soil is dccp and well drained. It formcd in loess on the plains, Typically the surfacc is loam 5 <br />inches thick. The subsoil is silty clay loam to inches thick. The underlying material is silt loam to a depth of GO <br />inches or more. Permeability is modcratc. Available water capacity is high. Effective rooting depth is GO inches <br />or more.
