<br /> <br />kECLAMATION FLAN <br /> <br />EXHIEIT "E" <br />(a) Description of the type of reclamation, reasons, <br />earthmoving related to recl~maticm. <br />The entire pit are will be reclaimed as rangeland. This use <br />was chosen by the landowner as being consistent with the <br />other usage far several miles around. <br />Earthmoviny in reclamation will be performed by any or all of <br />'the following types of equipment: <br />Front-end loader <br />Scraper <br />Doer <br />Earthmoving required for reclamation will be fairly straight- <br />. forward. The pit floor will be left evert w' itch <br />to the north to match e:.isting contour and evidence p~ <br />drainage. Overburden will be used t bacF:slope at 3H: 1V or <br />flatter, and topsoil will be deposited o~ of this. <br />(b) Comparison of the proposed post-mining land use to <br />other land uses in the vicinity and to, adc,p_ted state and <br />local land use plans and programs. <br />As stated in (a>(i), rangeland is the applicant's choice far <br />reclamation. This is consistent with the balance of their <br />ownership in this area, as well as the adjacent usage. This <br />was also the recommended choice of local land use officials. <br />(c) Description of how the reclamation elan will be imple- <br />mented to meet each applicable requirement of Rule 6. <br />6_1 Grading <br />(1) Hacl;filling and bacF:sloping will replace r.~verburden in <br />the mined area and shall insure adequate compaction for sta- <br />bility. There will material or tp;;ic materials <br />that could a eached. <br />(2) Grading will be done in a manner to control erosion and <br />siltation of the affected lands.
