Therefore, I would <br />appreciate a response from you on or before January 25, 2002. Any public comments that we <br />receive on your application during the interim will be forwarded to you. Attached to this <br />adequacy letter are copies of comments received from the Corps of Engineers, Office of State <br />Engineer, and Platte Valley Soil Conservation District. Please be advised that your application <br />may be deemed inadequate and maybe denied on February 18, 2002 unless the following <br />adequacy review items are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. <br />6.4.3 EXHIBIT C -Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Man(s) of Affected Lands <br />1. Please revise.the existing condition or mining plan map to include the location of the Meadow <br />Island Ditch No. 1 and the discharge ditch from the Sand Hill Reservoir. Neither ditch could be <br />found on the maps provided. Please respond. <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D - Minine Plan <br />2. The applicant states on page 14 only one section or portions of two sections and the processing <br />area will be disturbed during any phase of mining. (A typical section will be about 10 acres in <br />size). The applicant states on page 15 that excluding the processing area and stockpiles, a <br />maximum of 25 acres will be disturbed at any one time. In conformance with Rule 6.4.4(d), <br />please clarify the maximum disturbance to be expected during the mining and reclamation <br />operation. Such maximum disturbance should include the acreage of the stockpile and plant <br />
