relatively gentle transition from wetland to pasture. Orchardgrass, yeliow sweetdover, alfalfa, and wild <br />carrot aret the dominant plants with an otx;asional narrow-leaf cottonwood tree in the overstory. <br />Pratuction in this sub-unit was not estimated because of the limited forage, however, it is likely in <br />excess of 4,000 pounds per acre. In addition, noxious weeds are prevalent along all edges of the <br />wetland, espeaally the eastern side. <br />3.8 Rssiderrtial / Industrial Fscilltles <br />The Residential / Industrial Fadlities is a land use type and not a plant community. It occupies 79.84 <br />acres (16.5%) of the vegetation study azea. It is principally comprised of eight residences and assoaated <br />yards and outbuildings, the Terror Creek Loadout area, service buildings, abandoned buildings, paved <br />roads, they rails and baNast along the railroad grade, and a small barn in the Bowie Orchard. Vegetation in <br />this type is either non~xislent, comprised of weeds, or a collection of introduced grasses and ornamental <br />plants.
