Quarry
M-85-043 ~ zi~~
Enclosed is a modified map identified as Exhibit E-1
to support our plan to dispose of waste rock material within
the the permitted area of the Red Canyon Quarry.
I have identified the location of the intermittent
streambed located to the west of the boundary of the site.
No waste material or run-off from the waste pile will enter
the water-way. Due to the course size and shape of the waste
rock material which now makes up part of the northen end of
the area identified as the "unworked ledge", I am confident
any additional waste material can be stablized in the embank-
ment at a 2:1 grade. There is little if any evidence of
erosion or cutting in the old embankment now in place even
in areas that are too steep to climb.
I believe this map and letter responds to your questions
raised in our recent telephone conversation. I will be glad
to work with you should you need additional information.
Sir~erely,
O~~
Donald A. p
