..•~PMount
J 1995
Page 2

AI, I fully understand what you meant when yqu said that you just
would not shut down Western Mobile up here. You tallfed about lost jobs and
bad economic effects. I really understand that. They're big time!
You see, I know that they already have placed themselves above the law.
Basically, they have knowingly disregarded two district court decrees--I
furnished them with copies and tried to work things out with them months
ago. They certainly will have no problem ignoring you, the Board and even
the Governor. They're too big even for the State of Colorado and its laws.
I am certain that you will do everything that you can to encourage them
to make things righR around here. You are a conscientious man. However, you
have a "thankless" job with no real power to make these guys comply with
permit requiretwents or even the law. That mnst make your work veiy tough -
very frustrating.
The State historically has taken action against the little oper;-tors, but
Western Mobile has foreign ownership with a net worth greater that this State.
You can't buck them!
Please continue whatever you can do to help. They've damaged my
principal asset and they're continuing to disregard my family's property as I
write this. I can see them right now doing "business as usual". If yoiu can get
anything done, that's more than I've been able to do.
Thanks again
~ ~~ ~~.
John Glass, Sr.
(970) 221-4748
cc: Gene Fisher, Attorney at Law
