• Peak storm runoff estimates were made for various locations on
Davis and Middle Fork creeks. Both general storms and thunder-
storms were analyzed. Three different flood estimates were used.
These assumptions (as per Bureau of Reclamation) relate to the
degree of damage that would be realized in the event of failure
of a hydraulic control structure. The estimates, prepared by
using the SCS unitgraph method, are as follows:
Peak flow, cfs
Davis Creek Middle Fork
Type of Storm D-2a D-7b Creek, B-3o

Thunderstorm (1 hr)
t
PMF
7,600
9,700
10,800
Assumption A 4,900 6,200 6,900
• Assumption B 1,700 3,160 2,400
General Storm (18 hr)
PMF 750 1,240 1,320
Assumption A 500 780 840
Assumption B 190 280 320
a.
