Both of these items appeaz to be
located within the affected area boundary, however, neither of these items were included on the
Exhibit C map as required by this exhibit. Please locate these items on the Exhibit C map as
mining may affect these irrigation structures.
(2)(c) Submit a statement or plan showing how surface runoff from disturbed areas, material
stockpiles, and other operating surfaces will be managed to protect against surface water
pollution during and afrer operation.
(3&4) Will any water be used be used during the mining process for dust suppression, cleaning,
screening, etc. If so, the source and amount of this water should be identified.
(5) Please state whether or not a NPDES or storm water permit from the Water Quality
Control Division of the Colorado Department of Health has been applied for or acquired,
if necessary. Please clarify how much topsoil
will be removed and stockpiled and what replacement depth is being committed [o.
6.4.10 EXHIBIT J- Vegetation Information
(l) Based on the site inspection and review of the NRCS report submitted with the
application, there are several other grasses present on this site that were not included in
the vegetation information. Please modify this section to include a more accurate
description of the vegetation present on this site. Also, quantitative estimates of cover for
the principal species of each life-form represented is also required. Much of information
