• Reclamation Success Criteria for the Haylands (pastured) community
•
•
The following table was generated from vegetation studies done at the loadout. The Pinion-Juniper
Woodland area and the Rubber Rabbitbrush Shrubland have become minor communities. The
determination of reclamation success for these communities is addressed on pages 4-64 through 4-65.
MINREC proposes to use these cover and productivity numbers for success standards on the
remaining 1.5 acre parcel of Haylands (pastured).
VEGETATION TYPE COVER PRODUCTIVITY
Haylands (pastured) 70% 5000 Ibs/ac
However, the majority of the disturbance within the 1.5 acre parcel of Haylands is disturbed by a
landowner road. Therefore, an alternate method to determine reclamation success for this small
portion of Haylands may have to be established by mutual agreement between the Operator and the
DMG.
Species diversity and woody plant density standards do not apply to this community. Drawing No.
D-3-17 is a vegetation map of the loadout area. This drawing shows the location of the four
vegetation communities which were disturbed at the loadout.
4-90
Revised September 1998
r~l~J-U3
l~-zD
