Reclamation Plan
A. lfi en will reclamation start?
The operator plans to start reclamation in 4 to 6 years when
the excavated area is large enough to make reclamation
practical.
B. Will you stay 200 feet away from the pocaer line?
The unexcavated area under the power line will be something
like 100 feet. As provided in 1.56 (5), the right of way
agreement provides that any damage to the structure will be
compensated for by the operator.
C. Why is only 6 inches of topsoil replaced? I recommend 9 inches
of topsoil be replaced.
The operator agrees to replace 9 inches of topsoil in reclamation.
D. How many acres will be reclaimed per year?
Less than 1 acre will be reclaimed per year.
E. How do you know that there will be no standing water in the
pit and how do you plan to alleviate the problem?
Maximum height of the caater table appears to be 14 feet. The
operator will excavate to only 13 feet, or 1 foot above the
water line. Topsoil will then be replaced. This should prevent
any standing caater in the pit.
F.
