C. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
1. I stated in my reclamation costs an additional cost to
haul in additional topsoil where needed. I will do so
to obtain the recommended coverage.
2. I will dig up the 15 to 20 inch willows with a shovel and
transplant them by hand. One hundred transplants will do
the fob as the strip to replant is about .3 acre.
3. Grass seed mix specified by USFS: 30z smooth brome gr
30z western wheat grass, 24x orchard grass, lOx elsike
clover and 5x timothy. It will be broadcast at 25 you
per acre and require not less than 200 pounds total.
I asked the Assistant District Forest Ranger and he
suggested planting approximately 50 mountain mahogany
and 50 serviceberry shrubs per acre along with the
grass mix. This will be done.
4. The processing plant will be removed upon termination of
the mine. It uses about 1/3 of an acre and my intention,
even though it was not clear in my reclamation plan, was
to reclaim it as part of the processing area.
5. The slopes on three sides of the pond remain natural and
undisturbed. The disturbed aide will be no steeper than
2:1 when finished.
6. I do not plan to use mulches on the reclaimed areas.
D. Exhibit G - Ad,]acent Landowner Notification
PE~E2~ CoP/E5 vC 7HE
No%/c E FROH /r/E NEcvS PA PE lZ wE l2E
E. I will be reclaiming as I mine, therefore there will be
no more than six acres sub,]ect to reclamatio^ at one time.
This leaves a maximum liability of no more than $3768.60
(6 X 628.10) at any time.
Thank you for your patience.
