Colorado 80521 303 462 5600 '~~ Thank you for yon letter of October 10, 1978 advising that the Board tm~~~.~ly approved the subject application and set bond at $208,500 in action of the September 26, 1978 meeting. This was a $62,100 re- duction in the originally suggested bond due to the Board's exclusion of 62 acres of disposal area utilized by the cement plants. These 62 acres are located in sections 20 and 21, south of the Arkansas River and the cement plants. These areas were outlined in red on the appli- cation, Exhibit C map pcc-1387 and designated as Plant 2 and Plant 3 refuse areas. Upon receiving the Portland Limestone Quarry Permit dated October 10, 1978, it was noted that I had neglected to delete these two areas from the legal description of affected land given in Exhibit A of the bond papers which were subsequently copied by the staff as EX[-IIIBIT A attached. to the permit. To correct this Exhibit A, Legal Description, a retyped page with the heading EXEIIBTT A (revised 10-26-78) is attached. A re- vision of application Exhibit C map 1387 (revised 10-27-78) with the markings updated to remove the 62 acres deleted from affected land and bonding is also attached.
