C-12,411(FD) INITIAL APPROVAL <br />6ATEgI~SUEDssuanCUlyo2~Sunf~Dwero~,9~A~dyl C~s~uance~n) FINAL APPROVAL ^ <br />DATE AMENDED: June 1, 1981 l <br />ISSUED TO: BLUE RIBBON COAL COMPANY, a AMENDED PERMIT <br />Colorado Partnership <br />THE SOURCE TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS <br />FOLLOWS: - . <br />Blue Ribbon underground coal mine and associated <br />above-ground activities, located 2} miles north <br />on Hubbard Creek Road northwest of Somerset in <br />Delta County, Colorado. <br />THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Processing of coal coming from the underground mine: <br />equipment includes screens, conveyors, crushers, trucks. <br />Activities also include stockpiling and transferring to <br />trucks and stockpiles. Maximum production rate shall not <br />exceed 200,000 tons per year coal. <br /> <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7-101 et ~.), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. Opacity of emissions from coal processing activities shall not exceed <br />20%. <br />2. Haul roads shall be watered as necessary to control fugitive dust; if <br />dust problems develop, chemical palliatives shall be used to control <br />emissions. ' <br />3. Spray bars shall be employed on crushing and screening activities if <br />20% opacity requirements are not met. <br />4.
