<br />4. The applicant should indicate the status of all NPDES permits (i.e. when <br />approved, when they expire). Has the applicant applied for any new NPDES <br />permits for the proposed discharge points? The applicant should submit the <br />NPDES Permit/Application file number for all issued or requested permits. <br />Response: The status of all NPDES permits can be found on the next page. <br />Copies of all permits can be found in E7chibit P-2 of this submission. <br />5. The applicant must delineatethe 100 year flood plain for Curtis Creek from <br />• the point downstream of East Portal Area Pond F to Jensen Reservoir number two. <br />All supporting calculations must be included. <br />Res~nse: Not applicable, this question concerns the P and J seams. <br />6. Be aware that the Division will not allow the topsoil stockpile to be <br />located in the flood plain unless measures to protect it are taken. <br />Response: ?Iot•applicable, this questions concerns"the P and.J seams. <br />7. If the Supply Yard is located in the 100 year flood plain what measures <br />will be taken to protect it? What magnitude of event would the facility be <br />isolated from? <br />Response: Not applicable, this question concerns the P and J seams. <br />8. Will the applicant replace the stockponds that will be removed for the <br />refuse pile? <br />Response: No stockponds have been removed in order to construct the-refuse-= <br />pile and no stockpond removal is anticipated. <br />9. The applicant should quantitatively determine approximately how much runoff <br />retention would occur as the result of the operator s proposed sediment control <br />system (on a mean annual basis). Our concern is whether the sediment storage <br />volumes of each pond will contain a significant volume when added together will <br />significantly diminish the mean annual flows in Curtis Creek. The applicant may <br />use any applicable estimating techniques based on area, runoff volumes, etc. <br />Response: Not applicable, this question concerns the P and J seams. <br /> <br />
