Crosby, of the Division of Minerals and Geology, sent Hall-Irwin Construction Co. a <br />letter approving Amendment No. 1, to "Change n portion of the post mining land use to "developed water <br />resources" with the installation of a slurry wall. " Ms. Crosby also informed Hall-Irwin Construction Co. that the <br />estimated cost to reclaim/repay the slurry wall to ensure that it will meet the post-mining land use totaled <br />$111,500.00. Hall-[twin Construction Co. was told that either the increase bond or a letter from the State Engineers <br />Office approving the slurry wall liner needed to be in the office no later than August 22, 2000. To date, the <br />Division has not received a letter from the State Engineers Office nor a rider to the bond for the La Poudre Sand & <br />Gravel site. The Division requests Hall-Irwin Corporation submit a rider to your Corporate Surety bond, in the <br />amount of $ 111,500.00, by November 29, 2000, to cover the estimated cost to reclaim repair the slurry wall. <br />L° you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at (303) 866-4074 or Erica S.
