As you knoyv, I have tried to depend upon a spirit <br />of cooperation between us to order to expedite the permitting process. How- <br />ever, it has bean nearly three months since our F~ugust 6 ~noeting, and 1 feel <br />that this issue has been unresolved long enough. <br />If I do not hove complete applications for the pits originally submitted in <br />January of this year (file numbers 80-9 through 80-19, lnclus(ve) and answers <br />to my adequacy questions on the other two pit applications submitted earlier <br />(file numbers 77-365 and 77-366) by December 3, 1980, 1 will schedule these <br />matters for the December Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting for possible <br />action against Park County for mining althout a permit In violation oP the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Act. This mneting will be held on December 17-18, <br />in Roan 110, Centennial Bldg., 1313 Sherman St., in Denver. Board actions <br />could include a Notice of Violation and a Cease and Desist Order. as well as <br />possible civil penalties. <br />If I may answer any questions or help you with these permit applications, please <br />call me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Mark 5.
