The field profile descriptions were completed <br />by listing color, structure, horizon depth and boundary, root <br />and pore distribution, horizon depth and boundary, stoniness, <br />texture, consistence, slope position, drainage, and vegetative <br />cover for each pit as recommended by USDA Handbook <br />No. I8.
