The Operator agrees to remove all stockpiled gravel within 360 days <br />of the termination of this permit and to remove the hot-mix asphalt. <br />• plant and concrete batch plant and all other equipment and materials <br />that have been a part of -the gravel and hot-mix plant and concrete <br />operations within ninety (90) days of the termination of this permit. <br />6. The hours of operation of the facilities and specifically including <br />the asphalt hot-mix plant, concrete batch plant and "rock crusher", <br />shall be no earlier than 7:00 A.M. to no later than 7:00 P.M. <br />7. The Operator agrees to post with the Board of County Commissioners a <br />public liability insurance policy in the sum of One Hundred Thousand <br />Dollars ($100,000.00) for the benefit of the general public and for the <br />further benefit and purpose of protection of the Board of County Com- <br />missioners from any liability arising out of the maintenance, existence <br />or operation of the gravel pit, or from issuance of this permit. <br />• 8. Required Performance Standards: The Operator shall conduct its operations <br />in. accordance with the following standards: <br />A. Drainage. Surface run-off shall be contained entirely within the <br />site, including run-off from storm or moisture situation, as more <br />fully described on the site plan map. <br />B. Air Pollution. Smoke and dust originating from the operation of <br />the asphalt plant, concrete batch plant 'and gravel operation <br />shall be controlled as follows: <br />(1.) County and State Air Pollution Regulations whichever <br />are most stringent now or hereafter adopted shall be strictly <br />observed. (Reference is made, but not by way of limitation, <br />to Sections 4-2 and 4-5 of the Pitkin County Air Pollution . <br />' Regulations as now adopted or hereinafter amended.) <br />Yiolations shall be subject to fines and/or orders to cease <br />and desist operations. <br />(2) Sprinkler systems for pollution control shall be kept in <br />good repair and function properly at all times, <br />(3) Operations shall be conducted in such a manner as to prevent <br />damage to forest and agricultural resources by air pollutants <br />resulting from such operation. - <br /> <br />_3_ <br />.- <br />
