<br />EXHIBIT K: CLIMATE <br />No site-specific data is available for the Vagneur Pit <br />area. Data compiled at Aspen by the Colorado Climatology <br />Office, Colorado State University, appears on the <br />following page. The Town of Aspen is approximately six <br />miles southeast of the pit site. <br />Annual mean temperatures near the site are 55.6 degrees <br />maximum and 25.5 degrees minimum.
