FROM :BRCRWS FRX N0. :7192564309 May. 10 2002 10: 07RM P2 <br />It is anticipated that approximately 2 acres of vegetation and topsoil will be <br />stripped each year, and the previously mined area will be reclaimed each <br />year; i.e. reclamation will be concurrent with mining. <br />The crushing plant will probably be moved from location to location within <br />the pit to minimize dust. <br />We anticipate keeping the side slopes at 3:1 for ease in reclamation. If for <br />any reason we decide to make the slopes steeper, we will apply £or a <br />technical revision. <br />ExibitI2 We anticipate replacing 2-4" of topsoil over reclaimed areas, bat if <br />necessary we can amend the soil with crasher lines and sawdust or compost <br />as the NC1ZS suggests. <br />We plan to follow the NGRS recommendations for fe ' ' r, mulch and <br />seed mixtures. <br />E~.hibt E <br />Topsoil will be stockpiled in the southeastern area of the pit south of the <br />haul road enters the pit, but inside the permit boundaries. the access road <br />will be reclaimed.
