RECEIVED
Plan of Operation
Robert Dougherty Cedar Point Picture Rock Quarry .r•U~ Z 6 ~aF
COC 065720
Oirision of Minerals end Geology
Located in San Miguel County, Colorado
S%z Sec. 25, T45N, R18W, NM.PM.
I propose to start on the west end of the property of the 1.5 acre permit. .
I will drill and split the rock into blocks approximately 4' x 4' x 8'. This material will be
transported to my shop in Grand Junction where the rock will be sawn into counter tops, fire
place mantels, wall panels, and whatever. Smaller pieces will be used as Tumble Rock,
decorative stone.
The oil and gas exploration road into the property will be improved so as to allow a semi trailer
access. Improvements will be limited to knocking off a couple of high spots and filling a couple
of low spots. Once the access road enters the permit area, the semi will be staged fot easy access
to load.
If muddy conditions exist, rutting deeper than three inches, operations will be suspended.
Reclamation will coincide with progression of the pit. Top soil, if encountered, will be stock
piled and used in the reclamation process. Tree branches will be stock piled and used as ground
cover. The appropriate rangeland seed mix will be used in the final reclamation step.
Robert Dougherty
970-434-8773
