<br />• PROPOSED PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board published August, 1980, and pursuant to the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act 34-33-101 et seq., notice is hereby given of the <br />filing of a Technical Revision to the existing Colowyo Coal Mine, Mining Permit <br />-Coal No. C-019-81, by Colowyo Coal Company, 5731 State Highway 13, Meeker,. <br />Colorado 81641, with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, Colorado <br />Department of Natural Resources, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado <br />80203. The request provides a change in the status of the Streeter Fill from <br />that of an Experimental Practice to that of a Standard Practice satisfying the <br />MLRD regulations in Section 4.09 Disposal of Excess Spoil and Underground Waste. <br />All of the lands to be affected by this Technical Revision are owned by <br />Colowyo Coal Company, are located approximately 28 miles south of Craig, Colorado, <br />are adjacent to Colorado Highway 13 and east of Wilson Creek, are all in Moffat <br />County, Colorado, and are located on U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute quadrangle <br />Map No. N4015-W10745/7.5 (Axial, Colo.), and is more particularly described as <br />Sections 2 and 3, Township 3 North, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M. <br />• A copy of the application for Technical Revision is on file at the <br />Moffat County Clerk and Recorders Office in the Moffat County Courthouse in Craig, <br />Colorado. Comments concerning this Technical Revision should be addressed to the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80202. Comments must be filed within <br />ten (10) days from the date of this publication. <br /> <br />
